The second mobilization was initiated the last month to increase the employment. “Employment Mobilization” initiated by T.R Ministry of Family, Labor and Welfare and Türkiye Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), with the slogan of “This is Türkiye, Here Have Business" contains highly significant incentives for employers to create labor force. I strongly believe that new uplifting business fields will be created for labor force during the following months with the supports in the eight titles which you can find on the following pages.
As Istanbul Chamber of Industry, we became the first Chamber to take a step for the Employment Mobilization in our province. We addressed the topic through a wide-participated seminar so that the additional incentives could be comprehended better by the employers. However, we did not limit our activities with this first step. Instead, we carried our seminars to the industrial areas of Istanbul with the highest employment together with the ISKUR and the related ministry experts. On the other hand, we carried out an informative activity to create awareness for our members via letters and social media.
We, the industrialists, prioritize our country and say “First, Türkiye” in each step we have taken, not only in this mobilization topic. We always deem to produce and create work as our primary duty for the social welfare and peace of our country. I would like to express that we will continue to serve for our country and economy with the same understanding and determination.
As ICI, our activities in different fields are continuing without any interruption. We hosted Mr. Fuat Oktay, Deputy President in our February Assembly meeting. We realized very useful assessments regarding the major-scaled changes that wait for us upon the Presidential Government System.
Entrepreneurship and digitalization are the leading topics that we have attached importance. We organized the events of Koza Project Launch Meeting and Milestones of Digital Transformation in the Industry Launch that we organized with Istanbul Development Agency about which you will read the details on the following pages with the participation of Mr. Fatih Kacır, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology and
Barış Yeniçeri, General Director of Development Agencies.
April is not only the most beautiful month of spring, it is also the month of national sovereignty and the guarantee of our future and a meaningful holiday for children. Happy April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day! I commemorate Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who gave this day as a gift for our children with love, mercy and gratitude.
