And the route to this passes through a powerful industry supported by production economy. We, as Istanbul Chamber of Industry, will continue to be supporter of this understanding always. So starting with this approach, we prepared our Work Programme 2018-2020.

New generation industry understanding of the world is based on a production structure which is much more competitive, much more intense in terms of information, and with much higher added-value. Especially the developed countries which want to turn their technological knowledge into an advantage in economic competition are getting into the new industrialization era with new technologies, new products and new production models. Because innovations which have destroying feature time to time affect economies, social life and production models deeply, transforming our industry into advanced technological and high value-added structure is an inevitable must for us. We showed broad participated in 74th General Assembly of TOBB in May with our TOBB delegates. I find my re-election as TOBB Chamber of Industry Council President in this general assembly proud for our industry. With my Council Member friends, we sincerely believe that we will carry out productive works under the roof of TOBB with an understanding which attaches importance to production and industry.

On this issue, we included the file of technocities which accelerate the economical growth and increase the international competitive capacity.
