As Istanbul Chamber of Industry, we continue to support the Employment Movement. Within this framework, we organize meetings to inform our base regarding the employment incentives by cooperating with various industrial and regional associations and non-governmental organizations besides the other activities that we had shared before. These meetings that we organize with the participation of experts from Turkish Employment Agency and Social Security Institution continue with large turnout. Within the last month, we had met with our industrialists at Beylikdüzü Organized Industrial Zone, Ikitelli Organized Industrial Zone, ISTOÇ and IMES industrial sites. Moreover, we had organized meetings by cooperating with HASIAD, 16 industrial associations representing the textile industry, BEYSIAD, PAGDER and Rubber Association. To our meeting held in cooperation with ESIDER, Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Security Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu had attended. Thanks to these meetings, we had the chance to personally explain employment incentives to our industrialists. The new meetings will come in the following days.
It is very important to create a suitable operating environment to enable our industrialists to contribute more to the economy. Thus, it is our priority to solve the issues of our industry and industrialists with our stakeholders. And one of the subjects that we focus on is easy access to qualified financing. Within this scope, we had welcomed Turkish Eximbank President Adnan Yıldırım at our February Assembly Meeting. You can read more about this meeting on this issue of our magazine.
We, also, organized three other important meetings in the recent weeks to come up with concrete solutions to the issues with our stakeholders. We welcomed the officers from Turkish Ministry of Justice, and Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security at our headquarters on February 23. On March 8th, we had gathered together our Professional Committee members with the officers of Turkish Ministry of Customs and Trade. Then on March 23rd, our industrialists met with officers from Turkish Ministry of Economy. In these meetings, our industrialists got the chance to directly share the latest developments in the industry with the authorities.
Another event that we held regularly to contribute to Turkish industry and trade is "Country Days". The "Morocco Country Day" and "Kazakhstan Country Day" meetings held in March within this framework were honored by the bureaucrats of the respective countries, bureaucrats of Turkish Ministry of Economy and our members besides senior Moroccan and Kazakh diplomats.
To provide service to our members at a venue with reinforced infrastructure, improved working conditions and increased quality, our Assembly decided to renovate our Odakule building and move our chamber into this building. The renovation/repair work initiated with this decision continues with great speed. And I am pleased to inform you that we are close to the finish line in this project.
