Consul General of the Netherlands in Istanbul, Arjen Uijterlinde, Visits Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, Erdal Bahçıvan

Within the framework of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry's (ICI) good relations with diplomatic representations in Istanbul, Consul General of the Netherlands in Istanbul, Arjen Uijterlinde, visited the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICI, Erdal Bahçıvan. Also present at the visit, which took place at ICI's headquarters in Odakule, was Paul Zwetsloot, Director of the Netherlands Economic Diplomatic Network in Turkey at the Dutch Embassy in Ankara.

During the meeting, which emphasized the long and rich history of relations between Turkey and the Netherlands, an evaluation was made regarding the current status and potential of the high trade volume between the two countries. The visit, which underscored the significance of Istanbul hosting more than half of the Dutch companies operating in Turkey, involved bringing together businesspeople from both countries to exchange ideas on how to further enhance economic dynamism in various fields. The meeting, held in a friendly atmosphere, also addressed potential projects that the two institutions could collaborate on.
