Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Akram Aliev, Pays Courtesy Visit to the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Administration

Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Akram Aliev, along with Consul General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, Sherzod Abdunazarov, and a delegation of officials from the Ministry and the Embassy, paid a courtesy visit to the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI) administration. The meeting, hosted by ICI Chairman of Board of Directors Erdal Bahçıvan, was also attended by ICI Vice Chairman of Board of Directors Cemal Keleş and ICI Members of Board of Directors Kemal Akar and Hüseyin Çetin. 

During the visit, which took place at the ICI headquarters in the Odakule building, the participants discussed current global developments. The meeting involved an exchange of ideas on strengthening commercial relations and exploring new cooperation opportunities between the two countries, with mutual information shared about the structure of each country's industry. It was emphasized that ready-made garments, mechanical devices, electrical machinery, cotton, yarn, copper, and food products are prominent in trade between the two countries. The parties reached a consensus on organizing an event similar to a Country Day to further advance this commercial cooperation.

The Uzbek delegation visiting ICI included the following individuals: Maşrab Mamirov, Counselor at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara; Hurşid Rahmanov, First Secretary at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara; Olamgir Toshpulatov, Department Director at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan; Shuhrat Matkarimov, Department Director at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan; and Behzod Boynazarov, Department Head at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
