ICI Assembly and Profession Committee Members Realized Business Visit to Italy

A board including 25 people consisting of Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI) Assembly and Profession Committee members and chaired by Cemal Keleş, ICI Board of Directors Member realized a business visit to Lombardia region of Italy between the dates of 15-18 September within the scope of the project of Türkiye - EU Business World Dialog (TEBD). Board found opportunity to see digitalization and university-industry cooperation applications in Lombardia region with the visit with theme “Digitalization and University-Industry Cooperation”.

ICI Board visited Özgür Uludeniz, Turkish Consul General of Milano during their visit of Italy. Cemal Keleş, ICI Board of Directors Member presented a plaque to Uludeniz. Tanking to Özgür Uludeniz, Turkish Republic Consul General of Milano and stating that they realized visit covering various regions of Italy with the close interest and directions of Emre Erhan Oztelli and Gizem Yurtalan, Cemal Keleş, ICI Board Chairperson told that they established contacts of high efficiency and for future periods and all visits and negotiations and presentations realized for the board were very inspiring.

Board which firstly visited Union Vamere Lombardia was provided with information by Internalization and innovation experts. While Maurizio Colombo, the Operation Director (Unioncamere Lombardia) realized an official welcome, Roberto Valente, the SME Policy Unit Chairperson (Unioncamere Lombardia) realized the launching speech. Samuel Nazzareno, Internalization and Innovation Expert (Unioncamere Lombardia) made a presentation on an overview for Industry-University business unit. Presentations on development of entrepreneurship and innovation and business ideas were made during the day.

The board visited POINT of Bergamo Sviluppo (Bargamo Chamber of Trade Private Agency) and Business Incubation Center. Cristiano Arrigoni made a presentation on Bergamo Sviluppo and POINT for the board welcomed by Angelo Carrara, Bergamo Sviluppo President. Then, three entrepreneurs within the business incubator and laboratories of three firm operating in manufacturing, service and mechatronics sectors were visited during the visit to the Experience Center.
