International Transporters Ask for ICI’s support in European Crossings

International Transporters’ Association (UND) President of the Board Çetin Nuhoğlu and his delegation visited Istanbul Chamber of Industry Chairman Erdal Bahçıvan in his Office on July 2nd, 2014.

The parties discussed recent developments in economy and the challenges of Turkish Land Transport industry.

UND Delegation included Chairman of the Executive Board Nejat Fatih, Consultant Can Baydaroğlu and Secretary General Ali Çiçekli in addition to President Nuhoğlu.

Türkiye is facing some key challenges in exports through land transport. The limits introduced by some European countries in crossings are using difficulties for not only transport companies but also the exports of the country in general.

Association leadership expressed the issues that they face and asked for the Chamber’s support and cooperation. ICI Chairman Erdal Bahçıvan said they would cooperate with UND to help pave the way for Turkish exports.
