Kasahara, Japan’s Consul-General in Istanbul, Visited ICI Chairman Erdal Bahçıvan

Kenichi Kasahara, Consul General of Japan in Istanbul, visited Erdal Bahçıvan, the Chairman of Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI). The visit was realized at ICI’s head office in Odakule at a friendly atmosphere. Saito Hiroyuki, the Vice Consul responsible for economics, also attended the visit. The Japan’s Consul-general Kasahara was informed about the general structure of industry in Istanbul and the parties talked about the latest economic developments both in Türkiye and the World and exchanged opinions about the trade potential of both countries and the current situation. They also evaluated the trade potential between the two countries and discussed the ways to increase this potential even further. At the visit, the parties agreed on organizing specific events between the industrialists of two countries about investment opportunities and economic and technological collaboration.
