Over 400 Bilateral Meetings between ICI Industrialists and about 200 Iranian Companies

During the Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s (ICI) visit to Tehran, many industrialists from the delegation had the opportunity to conduct one-on-one meetings with Iranian firms. The industrialists discussed new venues of business and investment with their Iranian partners from several firms of Tehran in the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture on April 30, 2016. The meetings, which attracted great interest from Iranian business world, continued on the last day of the visit. The members of the ICI met several business people from all regions of Iran at the tables arranged based on sectors. Around 200 Iranian firms joined the meetings while more than 400 bilateral meetings were conducted in total during the two days of the visit.

Company representatives from a variety of sectors ranging from food to plastics, automotive to electronics, textile to furniture found the opportunity to meet with their Iranian peers. For the industrialists of ICI, the systematic negotiations formed a basis for new economic opportunities after the end of the sanctions against Iran.
