Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in EU SMP Program Participating Countries. The exchange of experience takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on his/her business and gets the opportunities to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets.

The program facilitates international exchanges lasting from 1 to 6 months, with partial funding of the European Commission. Participating young entrepreneurs receive monthly financial support, which varies depending on the destination country.

Istanbul Chamber of Industry has been designated as a partner in the COLUMBUS10 Project Consortium, supported by the European Commission's EYE Program, for the period 2023 to 2027. This consortium, comprising partners from Denmark, Greece, France, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain, is focused on fostering exchanges among ventures specializing in digital and green technologies. The project is intended to support young entrepreneurs in expanding their international networks and refining their business models to align with sustainability and digital transformation goals.
